The patented Mucosave® complex

A synergistic combination of plant extracts of opuntia cladodia (stems) and olive leaves. These plants from sunny Sicily have been used for years to treat stomach discomfort. Polysaccharides from opuntia cladodes and polyphenols from olive leaves have protective effects, helping in mucosal repair and reducing unpleasant symptoms such as heartburn, nausea, stuffiness, rumbling, flatulence, as confirmed by clinical studies.

Licorice root extract (deglycyrrhizinic)

Licorice is one of the most ancient medicinal plants, a favorite remedy of doctors in China, India, Tibet, and Egypt. Licorice root contains flavonoids and mucilaginous substances that maintain the mucosal integrity and gastrointestinal tact microfloral balance.

L-glutamine

This amino acid is a building material and source of energy for cells; helps to restore mucous membranes and maintain their barrier functions.
